Are Kunal Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor the new Bollywood love buds?

Bollywood affairs seem to be the most in thing so why should Sonam Kapoor stay behind, after her heart break with Ranbir Kapoor the young actress has moved on. Sonam who is currently shooting for ‘Dilli 6’ is very pally with director Rakesyh Om Prakash Mehra and he introduced her to his ‘Rang De Basanti’ star Kunal Kapoor.

Insiders from the sets say Kunal Kapoor frequently visits the sets and shares a special bond with Sonam, the two keep chatting for hours. Stories about their romance stirred up when Kunal started picking up Sonam after her shoots and the two would sneak out for a romantic drive or dinner. Kunal recently broke with actress Dia Mirza and Sonam too is trying to look for love after Ranbir, so the rebound couple has bonded well, so could they be the next Bollywood ‘Saawariya’ pair.

Unlike uncle Aamir Khan, Imran has been quite open about his girlfriend Avantika in the media, the two have been romancing publicly and here is some scoop on his gal Avantika.  Remember ‘Just Mohabbat’ the school show which ruled the telly world eight years ago? Avantika played Vatsal Seth’s girlfriend on the show. Based on insiders, Ranbir Kapoor was a regular visitor on the sets; the Kapoor boy apparently had a crush on the teenager Avantika.

Avantika however; used to ignore Ranbir as her mom Vandana Mallik, who was the Producer was always around on the sets. Destiny had some other plans for Avantika as she ended up in Imran’s arms six years ago and they have been going strong ever since.

Usually, debutantes hide their love from the media as they are insecure about loosing their female fan following. Imran however, shared that he believes in being open about his love as hiding it won’t be respectful to his lady love.

So, finally the new generation has arrived in Bollywood, who believe in ‘Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya’.

Sadhana and Sonia on Star Plus ‘Sapna Babul Ka…Bidaai’

A couple of weeks ago we reported on Sadhana aka Sara Khan’s romance with Ali Merchant, the couple is now officially engaged. So far so good but what is really shocking is that Ali was earlier dating Sonia aka Madhura and the couple had a bitter break off. When Sara’s engagement news broke all the unit members congratulated her except Madhura who was going green with jealousy.

Later during a break Madhura spoke to Sara and asked her if the engagement news is true, Sara said a yes and walked out from the room. Sara also spoke to her fiancé Ali about Madhura’s attitude and her sarcasm about their engagement. Ali was angry and called Madhur and asked her to keep away from his gal Sara as he didn’t want her to destroy their happiness. Madhura admitted getting a call from Ali and the actress swore that she would be away from the couple, so now it is a ‘Bidaai’ for her from Sara-Ali chapter.

Hollywood’s been chasing Bollywood quite a bit lately, but that doesn’t mean B-Town’s stopped copying H-Town!  For example the God Tussi Great Ho, trailer.  From the looks of it, it’s a straight up rip-off of Jim Carey’s, Bruce Almighty, with Salman as Jim, Priyanka as Jennifer Aniston and the Big B himself, Amitabh, as God.

Daddy Lohan is always full of surprises. First a DUI, then prison, and now … an illegitimate little sister for Lindsay!

Kristi Kaufman told Star that the father of her daughter, Ashley, 13, is the result of a years-long affair with Michael Lohan, father to Lindsay, Ali, Michael, and Cody. The affair started while he was briefly separated from Lindsay’s mom Dina. It continued even after the couple got back together. Michael tells Star, “I took the DNA test this morning. I will get the results within the next two weeks and you will be the first to know.”

Wow, how nice that Michael has such a great relationship with the tabloids that he would tell them before his own children. It’s so nice when celebrities and the press work arm in arm.

“It was important for me to know the truth, so I took the test,” he adds. “However, I have some serious doubts after investigating Kristi’s background.”

Michael Lohan doesn’t even need his own reality show like daughter Ali and ex-wife Dina’s hit E! show Living Lohan. His life plays out better than an episode of Jerry Springer as we eagerly await the results of the paternity test to find out if he is indeed the babydaddy, but of course, we will get to know after Star does.

A writer from Glamour got to hang with The Hills queen bee Lauren Conrad at the launch of her new collection for Mark, and she was surprisingly articulate and kind. Say what? That doesn’t sound like the robot we’ve come to know and loathe on MTV! According to the blogger, LC was:

• Skinnier and shorter than you’d think.
• Impeccably dressed (in her own design).
• Super sweet, even going so far as to walk the reporter to the bathroom.
• Well-spoken and full of facts about the Mark products she hawks.

Shocking! It’s too bad none of these wonderful things - besides the perfect outfits, obviously - come across on The Hills. Maybe Audrina would like her again if they did!
