Aamir Khan refuses to enter IIFA despite Big B’s personal advice
True love and genuine appreciation of fans seems to be the biggest award for Aamir Khan as the actor simply refuses to be a part of the Bollywood awards ritual.Filmfare and Screen Awards have honored Aamir with awards despite the actor not attending the show for years, but IIFA turned out to be a different story.Aamir’s ‘Taare Zameen Par’ is not part of the nominations as the actor, who is also the producer of the movie, failed to fill the mandatory application for his inspiring work to be qualified for IIFA.Big B had shared this mandate with Aamir, but the maverick Khan simply ignored the fact as according to him participating in award shows is against his principles.Big B is the brand ambassador for IIFA so he could have bent the rules for Aamir, but the superstar wanted to ensure that he is not sending a wrong message to other Bollywood Producers, who adhere by the IIFA committee rules. We are sure fans will be disappointed as Aamir or Darsheel will be missing from the nominations and of course will not be wining any awards at the IIFA nite for their work that was so genuine and ‘Zameen Par’.

A cricket ball has been developed which can measure its own speed and display the ball speed measurement on the tiny LCD screen on one side, it also comes with a inbuilt long lasting battery. Until now radar guns have been used to measure the bowling speeds of bowler and there’s always been a curiosity among the cricket fans in deciding the “world’s faster bowler “, with the new Speedsensor measuring technology inside the ball itself it might become possible to get the accurate speed measurement and thereby giving the crown to the one who deserves it.
How it works:
The inbuilt Speedsensor measures the speed of bowl between the time when it first gets released from the bowler hand and until it hits something(preferably nets) whereas the Radar gun reads out the speed between the point when the bowl gets released from bowlers hand and strikes the pitch.
Well the ball in question is not for actual cricket its just meant for measurement purposes, the manufacturers claim that the ball sensors could get damaged if hit hard directly by the cricket bat so its only meant for measuing speeds on the nets only.
It comes with a three year battery life with price tag of US $45( around Rs 1800)
