Bips and Ranbir in ‘Bachana Aae Haseeno’

Her role in ‘Shaurya’ won her accolades not just from fans, but also from the critics, and now Minnisha is ready to make a comeback to mainstream Bollywood with ‘Bachana Aae Haseeno’.

Minnisha has replaced Katrina Kaif in the movie as Kat did not find the role to be impressive; Ranbir Kapoor will be shown romancing Minnisha in ‘Bachana Aae Haseeno’. Minnisha has earlier paired with Abhay Deol, Jimmy Shergill and Rahul Bose, but her pairing with has not been termed as the perfect ‘jodi’ just yet.

Minnisha is however; sure that audiences will love her pairing with Ranbir as the two look really cute together and also; share a great on-screen chemistry.

Now, co-star Bips has also been claming her ‘jodi’ with Ranbir to be #1 in the flick which is the remake of the Hollywood blockbuster ‘Bachelor’.

So, if Bips-n-Minnisha’s claims turn out to be true then, Deepika sure has to keep Ranbir away from these Bollywood babes and express loud, “Ranbir honey, Bachana from these Haseenas.”

Kangana in ‘Raaz 2′

Bollywood actresses are busy going on diets and are hitting the gym after seeing Kareena’s new hot avatar in ‘Tashan’, and the latest one to follow the fad is Kangana.

In ‘Raaz-2’ the actress plays a ramp model; the actress is quite thin and we thought that she would easily slip in the model shoes, but director Mohit Suri requested Kangana to shed more weight so that she could look like a perfect ramp model.

Kangana is following a 6 small-meal diet recommended by her dietician Trupti Bhandari; besides, she is brisk walking and has spent long hours at the gym to make it happen for her flick.

She is also learning kickboxing, martial arts and actively practicing yoga. Kangana has already shed 3 kilos in a month and now, the actress aims to lose 2 more kilos to acquire that perfect body. Now, her special friend Aditya Panscholi too, is on a weight loss spree; may be the two can get together and achieve their goal by running in opposite directions at the ‘Nana-Nani park’ at Versova in Mumbai, to ensure that once again their relationship can remain a Raaz ‘2’.

John Abraham

Karan Johar is trying hard to play with the gay culture on-screen in Bollywood as after SRK-n-Saif’s humorous gay act “Kanta Bahen” in his ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’, this time Karan will pose John in a gay-like character in his ‘Dostana’.

Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham play best buddies in the movie and Abhishek is madly in love with Priyanka, who is crazy about John instead. This love triangle has an edge as rather than acting to be in love with some other girl, John tries to portray that he is gay hoping that eventually Priyanka would fall in love with Abhishek.

But wearing a gay garb proves expensive for John as Bobby Darling gets attracted to him and then, the fun begins. Last year, Abhishek Bachchan was voted as the gay icon and now, with John playing one in ‘Dostana’ we think the probability of Aby’s Baby being dethroned is high and that sure will make John happy and gay.

Vidya Balan

She is the lucky mascot of Bollywood and now, after pairing with Saif, John, Shiney and Akshay it’s her turn to rub some luck on Abhishek Bachchan.

Balki, who made his directorial debut with ‘Cheeni Kum’, has signed Vidya Balan for his next ‘Pa’ along with Abhishek in the lead, and Big B is expected to play a character role in the movie as well. Tabu was a strong contender for the role, but the director decided to opt for Vidya Balan instead.

Based on insiders, Tabu had a showdown with Balki after the release of ‘Cheeni Kum’ and the actress ended up giving no credit to the director which irked Balki hence, he approached Vidya for his next, who readily accepected the role.

The Bachchans have always admired Vidya as she has acted with Big B in ‘Eklavya’ and AbhiAsh in ‘Guru’, and this time the actress will be playing Abhishek’s leading lady for the first time.

Tabu was not too happy as she was hopeful of bagging the role, but guess Vidya stole her sugar and has left her with a ‘Cheeni Kum’ after taste.

Perizaad Zorabarian

If you love music talent shows then, here comes another one your way; the name of the show is ‘Krazy Kiya Re’ and it will be co-hosted by Perizaad Zorabarian and Sachin Pilgaonkar.

Sachin had earlier hosted ‘Antakshari’ on DD channel and has experience with hosting talent shows, but this would be the first one for Perizaad. The actress is currently, shooting for NDTV ‘Limited Edition’ and has clutched on this opportunity too; according to Perizaad the show is not all about singing, but also involves improvisations and changing arrangements.

Now, Sony TV has ‘K for Kishore’ then, Urmila hosting ‘Waar Parivaar’ and ‘Indian Idol’ season 4 which will soon be kicked-off by the channel, and now with ‘Krazy Kiya Re’ it looks like the channel is going all out with the musical talent shows.

Shatrughan Sinha feels that cheerleaders are mockery of cricket and our culture

Scantily clad cheer leaders flown in from the US for IPL are hogging the limelight, and now the legendary actor and a conservative politician Shatrughan Sinha has decided to go after them.

Shatru feels that cheerleaders are not part of our culture and are simply being used to glamorize the game of cricket as first, Bollywood stars took ownership of the IPL teams then, they started launching their team music albums, and later instead of focusing on the game the media cameras were tempted to focus more on Celeb guests highlighting in the pavilion.

Now, Shatrughan Sinha is famous as ‘Shotgun’ in Bollywood for his outrageous comments, and he is strongly opposing the bikini cheerleaders as he feels that the game of cricket is turning out to be ‘indecent’.

SRK has responded to Shatru’s objections by saying that he respects his seniors’ views and will ensure that the Indian culture is preserved as part of the cricket game.

Jackie Chan and Mallika Sherawat at the audio launch of Kamal, Asin and Mallika starrer ‘Dasvaratham’, Chennai

Kamal Hassan is undoubtedly one of the biggest stars in India so the audio release of his forthcoming movie ‘Dasvaratham’ had to be a grand event as well. Jackie Chan flew down especially to Chennai to share the special moment with good friends Mallika Sherawat and Kamal Hasan at the audio launch event.

The Nehru Stadium in Chennai was inundated with fans, who wanted to catch a glimpse of the South superstar Kamal. Asin looked beautiful in a traditional Anarkali while Mallika looked hot in a black dress.

Big B and Chief Minister Karunanidhi were the guest of honor, but Jackie Chan sure hogged all the limelight. Himmesh Reshamiya has given the music for ‘Dasvaratham’ and the audio is simply outstanding; the movie is all set to hits the big screen on June 2nd.
