She is just one movie old, but Deepika Padukone has sure seems to have achieved stardom in Bollywood, and just when we thought the young actress is gearing up to put her ambitious foot forward, Deepika surprised us with the perfect curve ball; the actress, who will soon be on ‘Sajid Ke Superstars’ show, confessed on the sets that she is quite serious about getting married.
After marriage, Deepika has no plans to work as she wants to be a domestic housewife and enjoy the marital bliss. Deepika did get candid as she shared, “I don’t want to be greedy and more than anything for me happiness comes by getting married and spending time with kids and my husband.” Now, Deepika may be serious about settling, but insiders say that Ranbir is in no mood to tie the knot just yet as he feels that his career has just begun and would need some time to take the next big step on the personal front.
So for now, Deepika has to put a hold on her famous dialogue from ‘Om Shanti Om’, “Ek chutki sindoor,” as Ranbir is singing a different tune which more like, “Bachna Ae Haseeno.”
Bollywood actresses cherish the dream of being recognized in the International arena, and this time, the fantasy has come true for Kareena Kapoor. Unlike her predecessors, Kareena Kapoor has scored a mainstream Hollywood movie and is cast opposite Billy Zane of ‘Titanic’ and ‘Phatnom’ fame. Daniel Silverman, who has worked as a film recorder for ‘The Devil wears Prada’ and ‘Perfect Strangers’ will be directing the movie which is tentatively titled ‘Chamera’.
Kareena was in Los Angeles shooting for ‘Kambhakt Ishq’ and she apparently hired an agent, who helped her bag this project. In ‘Chamera’, Kareena will be playing the role of an Asian girl and Billy Zane will be seen in the character of a tourist; based on insiders, the movie is scheduled to be shot in North India in just 30 days.
Insiders further reveal that Kareena has been paid a stupendous amount to do the movie and that was one more reason for her to say a smiling, “Yes.”
So with ‘Chamera’, Bebo has bagged a perfect ‘Ticket to Hollywood’ coupled with an impressive ‘green-bills’ cushion which is sure making Bollywood babes go green.
